Come Discover your body! In this series of classes you will find a better relationship with your body through movement and yoga. The focus will be on myofascial stretching within yoga poses to help release tensions that are creating pain and poor postures. Good alignment, strategies to overcome pain in your body and a greater sense of your movement will be what you come away from after each session. This is not a traditional yoga class. All body types and fitness levels are welcome.

Yoga Philosophy
We all have a perfect body. Sometimes we just need to get out of the way so this perfection can shine through.
Yoga has served as a reminder of things that are important to me: breath, peace, health and living in tune with my higher self. It has served as a compass when I get caught up in things that don’t align with where I want to be. Connecting the mind with the body has been integral to this alignment in my life and I am always a work in progress.
There have been times where I thought I needed more flexibility, more strength, that I would be “better” somehow if I made this happen in my body. Yoga always brings me back to the present and where my body is at TODAY with a focus on where I want to be tomorrow. It’s not about being flexible that brings me to yoga, but being present, right now on my mat.
Drawing on traditions, yet carving my own path, I bring to my classes a space where it doesn’t matter what you can or can’t do. What you ARE doing TODAY, I want to ensure you are doing it WELL to restore natural movement to your body.
If you would like to move, breathe, be present, laugh a little, and feel amazing, this is the class for you.
